Bodegas Bordoy

History tells us of the existence of the Sa Torre estate around the year 1369. It is known on the island for the unique neo-Gothic chapel that is built nearby and presides over the land between Llucmajor and Cap Blanc.

Legend has it that the master of the estate had it built when he saw his wish for a man fulfilled.

Today this chapel is blessing the vineyards of Bodegas Bordoy. It all began when Miguel Sastre Bordoy acquired the plots of land "Els camps de Sa Vinya" and "s'Aujub Vermell" in 1993, belonging to the "Sa Torre" estate, with the hope that the land that had sheltered the vines centuries earlier would once again become a vineyard. Their know-how, tenacity and vision of the future did the rest.
